In the last few hours, WordPress released their long-awaited 5.0 Gutenberg update, which introduces an innovative ‘blocks’ system very similar to WPBakery (formerly Visual Composer).
But what if, like us, you prefer WPBakery? Or, are you uncertain if the new formatting tools will break things or not?
Fortunately for all users, WPBakery has rolled an update to cover that with the introduction of Gutenberg, and it doesn’t even need the classic editor plugin installed. As always, update your plugins and backup your site prior to updating to WordPress 5. In WPBakery’s latest version 5.6, they’ve added buttons at the top, bringing you the familiar interface you’re used to:
